Psychotherapy

In psychotherapy, we will explore your life, relationships, moods, feelings, thoughts, actions, desires, and needs in order to help you resolve difficulties and overcome obstacles to your wellbeing and happiness. Over time, you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself to help guide your decisions and help you respond to challenging situations with integrity and dignity.

There are many types of psychotherapy, each with its own approach. The type of psychotherapy that's right for you depends on your individual situation. Psychotherapy is also known as talk therapy, counseling, psychosocial therapy or, simply, therapy.

Psychotherapy services are typically scheduled once a week.

I am in-network with CIGNA, but am not accepting new patients at this time. I can provide an invoice you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis is a specialty in psychology that is distinguished from other specialties by its body of knowledge and its intensive treatment approaches. It aims at making the unconscious conscious to help you make deep structural changes in your life. This is an intensive exploration of your motivations, desires, needs, and defenses to promote awareness of unconscious, maladaptive, and habitually recurrent patterns of emotion and behavior, allowing previously unconscious aspects of the self to become integrated and promoting optimal functioning, healing, and creative expression.

Psychoanalysis sessions are typically scheduled two or three times per week.

Personal Coaching

In personal coaching, I work with clients in almost any area including personal relationships and personal growth, project work, career issues, financial difficulties, and health concerns. You and I will work together to help you define goals and articulate obstacles to achieving them. Then we will identify the steps for achieving your objectives, the resources you need, and a timeline for achieving them.

The personal coaching schedule will be mutually agreed upon as the work proceeds.

My fees range from $150-$300 per session.
